Please note that the calendar below shows both confirmed and tentative bookings. Please contact the Booking Agent to check on the availability of a date. Bookings are confirmed on receipt of deposit (bond) completed hire form and Covid framework document.

Can I easily check if the Old Stone House is available on the date I want?

What is the cost of hire?
There are a range of rates dependent on the type of use. For more information check the Venue Hire Information Pack.
What does the hire rate cover?
The charge includes exclusive use of the Old Stone House from 9.30am to midnight and use of kitchen facilities, tables and chairs.
How many people can the Old Stone House seat?
Capacity of the venue is 120 (including the mezzanine); it seats 80 at tables, comfortably.
What do I need to provide?
All tablecloths, decorations and flowers. Also all kitchen necessities, such as tea towels and cleaning products.
What are the room sizes?
The main function room is 20m x 7m with a high cathedral-beamed ceiling. The mezzanine level (accessed by an internal spiral staircase) measures 5m x 7m.
What are the start and finish times of a full-day hire?
Hire is from 9.30am to midnight (all functions should finish by 11.30pm to allow cleanup to be completed by this time).
Am I able to use the grounds?
Yes, the area surrounding the Old Stone House is a public reserve which you can use for your wedding or other function. Please note that the grounds are open to the public at all times.
When can I view the Old Stone House?

Is there an in-house caterer?
No. You have the flexibility to hire your own caterer or to self-cater and to provide your own beverages.
Who is responsible for cleaning?
The Old Stone House is commercially cleaned after each function. However, you must remove all personal belongings as well as all recyclables and rubbish by the end of the hire (by 12 midnight for a full-day hire). We also have an optional "tidy-up" fee if you do not wish to remove rubbish and replace furniture. Please see the Venue Hire Information Pack.
Is it possible to have access to the Old Stone House the day before the function, for setting-up purposes?
We offer a part-day hire option if you wish to have access on the day prior to your function. Please see the Venue Hire Information Pack for details.
Do you have a sound system/AV equipment?
Yes, the hire fee includes the use of a quality sound system enabling music to be played through iPods, MP3 player, laptop or phone. A wireless microphone is provided for speeches etc. A large screen smart TV is also available for presentations.
Am I able to arrange live music for my function?
Yes, however you need to be mindful of the noise level as the Old Stone House is situated in a residential area (please see the hire contract for more details).
What happens if I need to cancel my booking?
All cancellations must be in writing (email to email@example.com). No deposit is refundable when a cancellation is advised less than 3 months prior to the function date. The booking fee of $200 (included in the bond is non-refundable).
